Goal and ending
For anyone deciding what a post should do. The goal steers the whole post; the ending is how it closes.
| Goal | Riff aims for | Ending on Auto |
|---|---|---|
| Comments | An easy, specific reason to reply | Ask |
| Reach | Easy to agree with, save or share | None |
| Clicks | Enough curiosity to open your link | Link |
| Leads | The problem you solve, and an invitation to the right people | DM me |
| Authority | One precise, non-obvious point, without bragging | None |
Endings: Auto follows the goal, and the note says which, like auto: ask. Or pick None, Ask, Comment a word ("Comment GUIDE and I'll send it", only when your notes include something to send), DM me, Link, Link in comments, Link in bio or Book a call, which never names a time or a date.
Link endings per site: Link and Link in comments on LinkedIn and Facebook, Link on X, and only Link in bio on Instagram. Messages get Link. Link in comments and Link in bio add a row under the draft with the link to copy or check (Write a LinkedIn post, Write an Instagram caption (beta)).
