The count, "see more" and the Fresh score
For anyone checking a draft before inserting it. Three small readouts sit under the current draft.
- The count: characters against the site's limit, like 412/3000 on LinkedIn or 120/280 on X. Facebook's limit is far beyond any post, so there it just counts. A thread shows 5 posts · longest 268/280. It turns red if a post is over.
- Before "see more": appears when a post is long enough to be cut off in the feed, and shows the part people see before they click. That's roughly the first 210 characters on LinkedIn, 400 on Facebook and 125 on Instagram; the sites cut by lines too, so it can land a little earlier or later. If the line that matters isn't in it, try Stronger hook Rework a post in one click or 3 hooks.
- Fresh 94% shows how new the wording is next to your notes and your last 60 posts. Hover it: New wording compared with your notes and your recent posts. Posts have their own history, kept apart from your replies Never say, openers, em dashes, hashtags and history.
