Replies come out in the wrong language

Symptom

A French or German post gets an English reply, or the language you picked isn't used.

After a Chrome update, Match the post writes back in French.

Older Chrome versions run only English, Spanish and Japanese on-device; updating Chrome adds French and German. When Riff has to fall back, a note under the draft says so, like Post is in French; Gemini Nano wrote this in English.

  1. Update Chrome (chrome://settings/help) and reopen the panel.
  2. Check language under more: Match the post follows the post; otherwise the one you picked is used, and your Default language in Voice is the fallback.
