Write a LinkedIn post

How-toNew in 0.3.0

For anyone posting on LinkedIn.

Link in comments keeps the link out of the post and ready to paste.
  1. Click Start a post on LinkedIn and click into the box. The panel switches to post, tagged LinkedIn post.
  2. Type your notes and press Enter. Riff writes like a professional sharing something first-hand: short lines, white space between ideas, the hook in the first line.
  3. Want the link out of the post? Set ending to Link in comments Goal and ending. The post ends by saying the link is in the first comment, and a row under the draft, For your first comment:, holds your link with a Copy link button.
  4. Click Insert into post box, read it over and press Post. Then paste the link as your first comment.

LinkedIn allows 3,000 characters; Short, Medium and Long aim for about 400, 900 and 1,600 Format, hashtags and length. With Hashtags on, Riff adds up to 5.
