What Riff reads before it writes

Explainer

For anyone wondering what the small card under the post means. Before writing, Gemini Nano reads the post and reports back. This is the read stage of every riff.

The read card: their mood, how well a pitch fits, and the one detail worth picking up.
  • Reading the post… shows for a second or two.
  • A mood badge: excited, curious, asking for help, frustrated, celebrating, joking, venting, announcing, debating, sad or neutral.
  • A pitch fit line: Good fit for a pitch, Okay fit for a pitch or Low fit: go easy on the pitch. On a low-fit post with the pitch on, a Turn pitch off link appears; one click sets Pitch to Off.
  • They want …: what the author is after, in a few words. Worth picking up: …: one detail the reply should react to.
  • With Sales tactic on Auto, the dial shows the play it chose, like auto picked problem → fix. With Link on Auto, the Link field says which one: Auto picked "Free audit" for this post.

Riff reads again when you change the point, the site, your links or your offer, and the card only appears once Gemini Nano is ready. In a DM it reads the conversation from the other person's side.
