Pitch: how hard it sells

Explainer

For anyone deciding whether a reply should mention what they offer at all. Pitch is the first knob on the pedal: drag it, click to step, click a dot to jump, or use the arrow keys.

Off, Hint, Clear, Direct: the same reply, selling a little harder at each click.
SettingWhat Riff does
OffNo pitch, no link: just add value and build rapport
HintA light, in-passing mention, one short clause at most
ClearA friendly recommendation of your offer
DirectA confident pitch that ends with a call to action

Off also removes the link; the Link field reads Pitch is off, so this reply goes out without a link. On a personal, sad or off-topic post the read card shows Low fit: go easy on the pitch with a one-click Turn pitch off What Riff reads before it writes. Hint is a good default for most feeds.
