Riff didn't switch to Post

Symptom

You opened a new post box, and the panel still says Riff a reply and shows a post from your feed.

Click inside the box, and the switch flips to post.
  1. Click inside the post box itself, not only the button that opens it. Riff switches when the box has focus: the box under Start a post on LinkedIn, "What is happening?!" on X, the box in Create post on Facebook, Write a caption… on Instagram.
  2. Or click the small Riff button in the corner of the post box (Riff a post in this box); on X it sits in the row of icons under the box.
  3. Or flip the switch at the top of Compose to post yourself. Riff writes for the site in the tab; with no supported site open, pick one under Writing for.
  4. Refresh the tab if Riff was installed or updated after you opened it.

Still not switching on one site? The site may have changed its layout: copy diagnostics in Voice and include the report when you ask for help A conversation isn't picked up.
